SPEECH : THE MOTHERS WHO LOOKS FOR A JOB

Today, many women want or need to continue working even after they have children. The charts below show the working patterns of mother with young children to care for. They need more money to supports their children everyday, and meet their needs. Besides, they want to be independent women and not always depends with their husband.

The pie charts show that the mothers who have continued their working are increase if looked at from the age of their children. There are four categories of youngest dependent child, start from 0-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-9 years, and 10 to more years.

The first is, youngest dependent child 0-2 years, about the 70% the majority of mothers are not working. Because of, firstly they must to take care their children and also they still little child, so they cannot leave their children. About 19% they have working part time and this is bigger than mothers who have working full time, because it’s only about 11%. The next is, youngest dependent child 3-4 years. If the first of pie chart illustrate that the majority of mothers who not working is biggest than another, but there isn’t on the youngest dependent child 3-4 years, because it is more little bit and about 54% who not working. Whereas for the mothers who have working part time it is about 35%, so it is increase than the first. And again it is only 11% that mothers who have working full-time. After that, youngest dependent child 5-9 years old. The mothers who not working is about 38%, it is more little bit than they have working part time, about 48%. Perhaps, they can divide their time even in the home or in the office because the children are already had to alive in their house. But only 14%, the mothers who getting working full-time. The last is, youngest dependent child 10+ (to more years). In this situation the mother who getting not working is decline because in this age, the children are already can to take care their self and all of the pie chart shows that this is the the most little than another. If the mothers who getting not working are growth, but not in working pat time, because it’s only about 45% and it is decrease than before that I have tell above. It is the most little than another because around 29% the mothers who working full time.

All of the pie charts show that in each of the chart getting decrease and increase depend on the age of their child.

In the end, many women want or need to continue working even after they have children, because it can help their income and perhaps it’s also help their husband to lighten the cost for their living everyday. I thought that, it is the good thing, especially for a wife because we are not depends with our husband, besides we also have monthly earnings and become the independent woman.
