COMPOUND-COMPLEX SENTENCE

Is the sentence has an independent clause and at least two dependent clauses, one of which is joined with a coordinating conjunction and one with a subordinating conjunction.

Coordinating conjunction

The conjunction is use for independent clauses to make compound sentence.

Subordinating conjunction

The conjunction is use to join independent clauses and dependent clauses, to make complex sentences.

#THE EXPLANATION ABOUT COMPOUND COMPLEX SENTENCES

● Compound Complex Sentences are the most complicated sentence, as their name implies. A compound complex sentence has at least two independent clauses and at least one dependent clause. In a simple terms, an independent clasue can be a sentence on its own while a dependent clause can’t.

● Coordinating Conjunction is conjunctios that connect two or more  independent clauses i compound complex sentences. There are For, and, nor, but, or, yet and so.

● Subordinating Conjunction is conjuntion that used to introduces a dependent clause that join independent clause, it is used to make compex sentences.

                Then How to write compound complex sntences?????

We have learn and familiar with the parts of compound complex sentences, and it’s time to start to make it in full sentences. This is as easy as coming up with two sentences and one extra bit of information, and then using conjunctions to link them all up.

                First step : Independent clause

                The first independent clause of your compound complex sentence should have a strong main idea because it will remain one of the main points of your sentence no matter what you add to it.

Example : My cat jumped on the couch.

This is a complete sentence all on its own, which is how we know it’s good independent clause for our compound complex sentence.

Second step : Related independent clause

                After we make the firs one, we need to another independent clause that is related to the first independent clause. The second clause should either continue describing the action or add information of about equal importance with the first independent clause.

Example : The cat sat down on top of remote control.

Third step : Dependent caluse

The dependent clause will spice up the two independent clauses that we have already written. It could tell us more about the situation or explain an action, but it can’t be a complete sentence on its own.

                Example : When I was trying to reach the remote control.

                Last step : Put all above sentences that have been written with conjunctions.

                The compound complex sentence will be like :

                The cat jumped on the couch and it sat down on the top remote control               when I was trying to reach the remote control.

                Note :

                The blue color showed an independent clause.

                The Red color(and) showed Dependent clause and its subordinating conjunction(when).

                The green color showed Coordinating conjunction that connect two independet clause.

8.       I went to book store yesterday untill I met my old friend stopped at supermarket, but he didn’t know me so I shouted at him for we talked each other.

9.       I was at the living living room as the lamps of my house turned off, yet a big shadow came toward me and i closed my eyes only.

10.   I submitted my form of tahfidz registration as soon as I Wrote all of its needed, but I couldn’t uploaded it used my phone nor did I used my notebook.
