The expert was talked about the origin of language, but it was useless because of so many factors and different point of view, and the is no ends talking about that. It was because every area claimed that their language was the origin. But if we analyzed form the theory of language, there is PIDGIN and CREOLE theory. Pidgin is the contact language. When the foreign people (more than 3 language) met in someplace, they will have contact language. The contact language is not their own language, its not standard language. PIDGIN is new language to communicate each other because it was easy to use. Then, When the pidgin used for long time and learn it for the next generation, it called as Creole.
so, it possible BAHASA INDONESIA also come from the pidgin and creole process. In the longtime ago, Asian people (form Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Singapore, etc) come to Indonesian. They did not know how to communicate each other. because of that, they create new language call as pidgin language. Because it used for long time, it was being Creole. After some decade and the creole language still exist, creole was change being Standard language which has their structure and vocabular it names as BAHASA Indonesia. But, How if, pidgin do not use for the long time? and pidgin are not exist for the next generation? It mean, there is no creole and pidgin language is temporary (it will disappear soon, we call as contact language). Then, did you ever hear about family of language "rumpun bahasa" Asian people has similarity in language (melayu language). It may be happened the pidgin and creole process. So, Bahasa Indonesia do not come from Malaysia or Melayu Language.
